If you’re experiencing slow starts, or dimming or flickering lights in your vehicle—especially when under the load of headlights, radio, windshield wipers, and other accessories—you may have a problem with your alternator.  Telltale signs will sometimes precede the warning light. For example, a growling or whining sound, or the scent of something burning. Eventually you may notice loss of power, or the car may stall out, but there’s no need to go down that road. Have the problem checked when you first notice something unusual.
