Is your check engine light on? Has your car been stalling, surging, or hesitating, you may have a faulty throttle position sensor (TPS). The TPS is responsible for relaying information about the throttle position to the car’s computer.  When it’s not functioning properly, the result is often poor fuel economy.  You might also notice the engine running rough or cutting off.
